We were delighted to have one of our favorite kitchens featured on Clever, Architectural Digest’s blog.
Sometimes good design is about knowing what not to touch. Case in point: The underwhelming kitchen in a modest fixer-upper in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood. “The clients understood that with a limited budget there would be tradeoffs,” says architect and Runcible Studios founder Marilyn Moedinger, who collaborated with RK Construction to get the job done. Not only does necessity breed creativity, but it also forces the clients, architect, and contractor to prioritize it. “We focused on the aspects that mattered most,” Marilyn says.
